Tell me about the place you felt most at home.
For families and caregivers
While there is time.
Help a parent save the stories, songs, advice, and practical notes their family may need later, without turning one tender visit into a project.
A Sunday is enough
Start with one visit, not a whole life story.
Bring lunch, open one prompt, and record one answer. The archive can grow slowly: a childhood story this week, a recipe next week, a note for the grandchildren when the moment feels right.
You can help with setup.
Words Abide is built so an adult child can help a parent create the account, choose recipients, and start the first recording. Your parent should still understand what is being saved and who may receive it later.
If they do not like apps, be honest with them: phone check-ins are part of the product, but recording by phone is not available yet. Today, plan to sit together with a browser and record or write the first message side by side.
Questions about setup, recipient verification, or phone options are answered in the family FAQ and the phone option answer.
Prompts that do not feel like paperwork.
What do you want your grandchildren to know about you?
What song should we remember in your voice?
What did your parents teach you that stayed?
The full prompt library includes questions for parents, partners, children, friends, and practical planners.
A careful gift.
Formal gifting is still being designed. If you want to buy a year for a parent or help a loved one get set up now, write us at [email protected] and we can handle the concierge version by hand.
Pricing is intentionally simple: one plan, a 14-day trial, and export anytime. See the current pricing page before you bring it up with your family.
